Chronic Pain and Trauma Recovery
“Until you make the unconscious conscious,
it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
― C.G. Jung
Somatic Experiencing
Somatic Experiencing (SE) was originally developed as a trauma therapy. However, it is useful in the treatment of many conditions. In addition to treating trauma, I specialize in SE for chronic pain, chronic physical symptoms, anxiety, depression, addiction, and those impacted by another's trauma, mental health, addiction, and chronic illness. SE is integrated into all of MindbodEmotion's services.
Vicarious Trauma Prevention for Organizations
Caregivers, parents, helping professionals, first responders, teachers and other human service workers are vulnerable to the effects of being exposed to the trauma of others.

MindbodEmotion's Mission
MindbodEmotion was born to offer opportunities for holistic mental, emotional, and physical health and wellness outside the traditional mental health and biomedical systems. Although the impacts of emotional stress and trauma on the mind and body are becoming more widely acknowledged, many medical and mental health providers are still unaware of how to recognize and work with it.
MindbodEmotion's offerings are here to support health and healing in those who:
-
have experienced physical/mental/emotional trauma and/or complex childhood trauma
-
suffer from medically unexplained chronic pain/chronic conditions and symptoms, and aren't finding solutions in the medical system
-
struggle with addiction and/or mental/emotional health challenges that aren't being addressed by other providers
-
have hit a dead end with traditional mental health or medical treatment
-
are experiencing burnout, exhaustion, compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma or a period of high stress
-
are feeling "stuck" and aren't sure what to do next
